Hey BPers I wanted to wish you all a Happy Winter Solstice.
Winter has officially started.

We might have short daylight hours now, but from here on out they are getting longer every day.


5 more months or so and the seeds will be in the ground.
C'mon spring!

Oh yeah - Happy Holidays too.

Ya I know what ya mean, "4-8" inches of snow tomarrow. My seeds are layed out on a table waiting to be planted. I'm saving up money to buy suplies for this coming spring. This will be the second year of growing big pumpkins. I have my green house ready to roll for all my seeds. The first year I really grew a pumpkin, it was sooooo big that it amazed me, so now I'm hooked on growing pumpkins.

Seven years ago today my only son was born. A fine day for us indeed.

The cuttings are getting by fine even in the shorter days. But the supplemental lighting (combined with Christmas lights) has the meter spinning! LOL Better than pictures though.
