I need some boron too. Anyone know of a source and the rate to apply per 1000 sq ft to raise it 1 ppm?

Boron can be bought at a local fertilizer ag chemical dealer. I bought 50 lbs of 10% boron last year. I used something like 5 lbs maybe a little less. I think that 10 lbs of that product would raise it by about a ppm. The other thing is that its hard to say when or if you've added enough. On your next test if it has one of the little boron granuales in it it might be sky high or if it doesn't the same.
I think theres a soap called borax that contains a significant amount of boron that might be more convenient.
Its also quite possible that a plant would get the boron it needs from seaweed or other foliar fertilizers.
As for copper sulfate, i know there is a fungicide by the name of kocide, that you could concievably use to prevent a deficiency as part of a normal spraying program.
I hope this helps

You can provide all the boron and copper your soil could need with a generous manure addition. No need to add any more in a concentrated (and dangerous) way. And I seriously doubt your soil need copper, Steve. It sounds odd to me.
