Subject: Seeds from Canada to the U.S.

I sent out 2 bubble packs with seeds on the 12th of Dec. to see if there would be a problem. Both people have received the packages. 1 to Iowa and 1 to New Hampshire My last call to Customs still say seeds for hobby should not be detained. The new law is going to take 6 months to be fully implemented and there may be the odd glitch, there should be no change.

your a lucky man eddy: I sent a bubble to Canada in late november maybe the 28th and the other party still hasent recived it as of yet.John

That is strange John, especially since the problem isnt getting into canada, the problem is getting out of canada with a bubble. The US has no restrictions heading out of the country, they have put some one the incoming flow though...

Rock im not knocking the post office in the least,sometimes once in a great while! they might loose a letter:) but this time of year i know its busy,and the postoffice can get overwhelmed with mail.the other party recived his seeds saturday did take 3 weeks ,but it got through thats what counts.Rock if you were my post man,you'd be getting a tip for xmass,LOL.John

john, give it a little while longer, sometimes for god knows what reason they will hold your seeds coming into canada in quarinteen for a number of weeks, other times just goes right through. go figure. :o) craig
