What are the stages of powdery mildew and how long does it take to kill the plant? I have a bad case and some of the leaves are turning yellow. The pumpkins (Conn. Field) have seemed to stop growing. The biggest one is only 19" around. Is this the end of my plant?

The best thing to do is to spray with Daconil, it controls the stuff but can't cure it, it should halt the spread but won't reverse the already yellow leaves. Good luck, :}

I had some powdery midew on my small sugars last year, the vine just out grew it so it was never a serios problem. This year I spraied daconil and I haven't seen any mildew.
