Howdy! If any mates down under have a bit of space to try some of my seeds I have an offer for you!
I'll give you some seeds to try this year and only ask that you try to self pollinate them so we can self pumpkins at twice the normal rate.
I'd be willing to take your seeds from this coming year and plant them also and either self them or make any crosses that are possible from my seed list.
I have about one hectare as a test plot here so I can plant a lot of plants.
I'll also give out any of my seeds just for you to plant if you can send me the pictures of them when they are fully grown. I need a lot of large pumpkins next year to sell and want to know if any of my seeds will produce decent looking pumpkins.
Please email me off the list if you are interested or can even refer me to anyone.
There are other countries that might be able to start growing now and if anyone can tell me where, then please help.
(Boily, I know you have a huge test patch...chime in???) Best regards from Germany! Michel

Hey Michel, I will be planting my test patch very soon. If you can get a few seeds to me in the next few weeks I would be able to test them. Will have room for about 70 plants. Testing some good unproven's, and it will be interesting to see what happens. Maybe some other growers in the southern hemisphere could test out some seeds too. I know New Zealand, South Africa and Brazil are planting about now too. Also plenty of places around the world that could grow all year round at the equator.....Ben

Michel I have about 40 hectares I can plant. Have seed a couple of your seeds but no movement yet. If anyone wants I can do a similar test patch to Boilys but cant guarantee they will be looked after as much as competition patch. Will plant weed, water and watch and send photos back. Lucky I havent planted yet either as hail again ripped through patch. Must have hit the whole east of Australia today. Anyway should start transplanting this week Clinton
