Just wanted to get some feedback from everyone around here. Since my major pruning job, I have had lots of new growth, I want and need the leaves, but have justed removing the budding flowers (male and female) before they bloom on the two plants that I have pumpkins already, to keep all of the nutrients going to the pumpkin. Is this a good or bad thing to do?

most growers i know don't prune their male flowers- i think mainly becaue it takes a lot of time, and they don't think that pruning them will make a difference in their pumpkins size. but most growers get around to cutting off the females sooner or later. Gordon
