I need some advice. I noticed the past couple days something has been munching several spots on the skin of my big'un. The spots are only the very top orange part of the skin, not into the rind even, very shallow and small but this will not do. I believe it is an inchworm type critter thats doing the damage. What can I use to spray on the fruit to stop these and other things from munching and camping out on my baby while not hurting the fruit or growth? Any help would be appreciated.

For something like that Bill...a carefull and totally thorough inspection of the fruit and a couple of the surrounding leaves should do you....then a blanket on top would be my course of action. As a S.O.P. for September I dust my fruit with a "tomato or vegetable dust"...has fungisede and insecticide in it....get out the ladder and make sure you check the top of that beast for bugs.... lol .....G
