I THINK I FINALLY MET MY NEMISIS IN THE PATCH TODAY! HE WAS ORANGE AND BLACK AND SHAPED MORE LIKE A WASP THAN A MOTH BUT HE WASN'T GONNA FOOL ME. AS JIM CROCE SANG,"HE LOOKED LIKE A JIGSAW PUZZLE WITH A COUPLE OF PIECES MISSING WHEN I GOT DONE WITH HIM!" NEXT!!!!

haven't seen any in my domain, they must be smart enough not to mess with my pumpkins. If I found one of those guys a wouldn't kill it, I'd torture it for torturing my pumpkins. They know that they shouldn't come here because I get pissed off when I see little creatures eaing my babies.

The problems start to show when the eggs hatch and the borers enter your plant's vines and leaf stems. See my latest diary entries for pictures of this type of damage.
