My wife Terry isn't obsessed with growing giant pumpkins(like me), but she continues to support my efforts and helps out whenever she can. I think after her 400.5#er last year, it's starting to get into her "blood". Two nights ago she had her "first" pumpkin dream! My work sometimes keeps me hundreds of miles away from home. In her dream, I was working out of town, and she was left to care for my plants. She failed to "cull and position" correctly and 2 pumpkins "fused" and grew together. Next thing she remembered was being at the Ohio Valley Weigh-off, and her and site director Tim Parks were arguing over the giant pumpkin with 2 stems! They finally agreed to weigh the pumpkin , but results would be " unofficial". Her "siamese" fruit weighed in at 1399#! She said all she can remember is that when the scale settled and the roar of the crowd diminished, she saw Dave Stelts jumping up and down yelling "IT DOESN'T COUNT!, IT DOESN'T COUNT!" LOL! kilr

Glad to see someone else suffering from my affliction. I have yet to have a good pumpkin dream .....mine are always disasterous. My wife has yet to suffer from them but If what you say is true the disease can be passed from one spouse to the other. She is not going to be happy to hear that!
