I have had the same problem the fisrt 7 of mine did this, does anyone know how i could increase the chances of a succesful pollination?
Justin I have 4-5 left that i pollinated on the 15th-16th if they don't set i will be running out of pumpkins. I have only ''dead headed'' 3 -4 2ndarys so more pumpkins will come it will just be too late.

Yo Tim, They go white and spongey when they have aborted...usually a few days after attempting fertilization.
