LEN STELPFLUG UPDATE ON 6-19-2001: {NEW YORK}
My clones are going good. The larger one has about 60 leaves and will
probably pollinate some in 5 to 7 days. I let 2 fruit blossom this past
week. One was a Twisted 5 segment and had some seeds in the blossom. The
other was a good looking 5 segment but when I peeled the flower away, It had
2 little appendges and each had 1 seed on it. Hunt 991 growers should be on
the lookout for Seeds in the blossom.
My Clone from the 3 node cutting is on the right and has about 20 leaves. It
has 2 runners and some side runners are just starting.
It has finnally warmed up here and the plant growth is good now. My longest
runner was 62" this morning.

NIC WELTY UPDATE ON 6-17-01: {OHIO}
Clone update is as follows:
last sunday 18" main vine which I coaxed off of one of the side vine buds of the second clone you sent.
This sunday 62" main vine. It is rolling. The vines are thin and leaves small, but it is the fruit that matters. Check the pics attached.
I hope yours does well.

ALEX UMSTED UPDATE ON 6-07-2001: {NEW MEXICO}
It Died! I can't say what killed it, I just know it died. Went out out to
water it and found the two tips dead. The next day the leaves were fried.
Started some new seeds today. I was really looking forward to being part of
your experiment
