I am a first time pumpkin grower and need help! Do I cut off any dead/wilting leaves or stems? If so, what do I do after I cut them off? Or, do I just leave them alone? What will happen if I leave everything alone? Please Help!
Thanks, David

Bub,
It won't hurt to cut off any dead leaves or stems. It lessens the chances for spreading disease, and also makes the plant look a lot better! I cut the stems off flush with the ground, and then a day or 2 later, go back and cover them with soil. You may also want to remove some "healthy" tertiary vines to promote growth of your pumpkins and improve air circulation. kilr
