kilr, In this case good things must be rushed. The males I'm speaking of are being shipped a couple thousand miles overnight Fed-ex. Wish me luck on this adventure. Pappy

may i suggest a little barry white, or isaac hayes to get them in the mood pappy.......it usually works for me. and if that doesnt work, put on a giant bee costume. that's what i do :)

Males arrived about 9:30 am ET. As soon as I got them I started to pollinate 5 in all, 3 that bloomed this morning and two from yesterday. One concern I have is that the pollen is rather damp from being in the ziplocks. There was a lot of condensation in the bags with the flowers. I could brush it out and transfer it with no problem. I'm going to post a few pics from the event. Check out photo gallery

Thanks scott, It's the waiting game now. How long you reckon It'll take for me to know if the pollination was successful? I'm keeping my fingers ,toes , and eyes crossed. Pappy
