I'm just wanting to compare some notes on the fruit growth on the 895.5, if anyone has some numbers they would like to share you can post them here or e-mail me privately. The one I finally have on mine is at 25" on day 10..........Paul

Day 25 pumpkin, I have 53-41-40=134 and day 17 pumpkin, 38-29-30=97 for the other one. Pumpkins had a good 24 hours. Day 25 pumpkin went 5" growth OTT and 17 day gave up 9" OTT I feel great!

97" at25days at first it was a perfect picture, perfect shape ,long stem and really green. Now it is still green and a long stem but it is starting to squat out and does'nt look as good but its growing good.

Check my diary, 65" on day 20, rechecked tonight and was 71" on day 21. This is circumference only, not doing any ott measurements yet.

mine was 61'' day 20.......very high short squash typical shape for 895.5....stem 9'' in length...huge blossom-end... will post pic on diary......just remember the early growth depends on weather etc......those measurements from 20 days to 30 days are the best indicator......................wayne
