I know that seaweed and kelp are very popular fertilizers for the giant pumpkin growing community and I have been using them myself though they are rather pricey. Down here we have a rather large lake with an abundance of hydrilla. I was wondering if anyone knows whether this plant could be used in a way similar to kelp and seaweed? Would there be a way to have it checked to see what nutrients it contained?
