Got a question for all the master pumpkin growers out there. I have a Stellpflug 811 that I pollinated 9 females on already. Five are on the main vine, 3 on main secodary and 1 on a small secondary. My question is should I pollinate anymore females on this plant?

We'll let the master growers answer that one. I have "small plot-smallplant-low option" conditions here. BUT-WHATEVER YOU OR ANYONE ELSE DECIDES TO DO>>>>DON'T CULL ALL THE PUMPKINS FROM YOUR PLANT THE SAME DAY !!! You will blow up the remaining pumpkin(s) with the surge of growth that was spread out to the others....some even cut half way through the stems the first day (on a couple) and complete the job the next day. And if its going to rain that day....put it off til two days later. AN OUNCE OF PREVENTION>>>>>>>>>G

Hoosier,
Most growers I know will continue to pollinate into late July, you never know how the ones you have will do, and why pass up the possibility of pollinating the next world record? I believe Dave Stelts's world record was pollinated on July 18th. Pollinate all you can, then narrow it down to the few that are growing the fastest.
