My first female finally bloomed this AM it is in perfect position on the main 10 feet out from the stump but when it opened it had four perfect lobes and one deformed lobe sort of a mangled lump in place of the fifth lobe. Should i worry about this or will it have no effect on my pumpkin. I realize that it would not be ideal for seed stock but what about just for a giant pumpkin?
