Would a plant with many smaller leaves tollerate the heat/humidity better than a plant with fewer but larger leaves? Even if square footage for plants are the same. Just something I have noticed this year in my patch. Maybe just genetics....Tom

I didn't find it here, but I do find they resist better the wind.

my guess is genetics. I have the opposite situation of your in my patch. My plant with the smaller leaves is less heat tolerant than the others in my patch that are about the same size.
