How long is a pumpkin flower fertile for?.I coverd a female flower last night and two males. Is it a matter of hours or a day or two.The problem is when i uncovered the female at 7.30 this morning the flower was a little slow to open.So i gently helped it open and was able to fit the males in down to the lobes and pollinated.Later this afternoon i noticed another male still covered so i picked it and also pollinated. That was at 6.10 this evening.would the female still be receptive to the male pollin?.
