This is my 4th year growing these things and you'd think I would have learned this by now but I guess I had to see it with my own eyes. My plants that 10 day ago were hit by a bad storm complete with hail rain and wind and looked like they had been fed through a salad shooter are RECOVERING!! I went away for a few day, came home to find plants I couldn't recognize. Now, they have wounds, but nothing is rotting, all are growing and I'm happy. My advice to anyone who has this happens is this. Spray with seaweed and a good fungicide, don't cut off all the bad leaves at once, I'm trimming the ones most shredded as new ones come. Never give up. I did pull one plant out of 9. I had too many to try to save, that one was almost ripped from the ground anyway. I even started some seeds the next day and they are coming along too! Mother Nature is an awsome force but she also has a way of healing too.

Last year we had a hail storm go through, my plant looked like someone stood back with a shotgun and blew it to hail, But it came back, planted to late for a big one anyway, this stuff gets in your blood,Glad to hear yours are comein around.

Amy, glad your plants are getting better. This is my first year growing AG's and they are awesome plants. I was told by someone at the Calif. Ag. Dept. "help" line to pull my one and only plant because they thought it "may have" MV, It turns out I had put some bug dust on the tender new leaves and only the center of the plant shows any damage now. They are very tough and want to grow!! Good Luck this year,
Judi
