Hey. my 846 is my smallest plant right now. It is as developed as my 805 Pukos, with 3 true leaves and a vine forming, but it's about half the size. The plant is healthy, so i'm not too worried about it. Is there any way I can get it to be a bit larger? I plan on giving all my plants some 15-30-15 on sunday because the rain is supposed to stop and start with a high N fertilizer a couple of weeks later (except with the 620). I'm just wondering if there's anything ele I can do. Thanks. Tom

I've been experimenting with PGR-IV which is a plant hormone based bio-stimulant all winter. Now that my real plants are between the 2 & 4 leaf stage, I am about to apply both the labeled rate & a 2X experiment. The auxins & giberellins might do for that plant what I have observed in my tests. But I won't wager a bet on it. Hormones can only accentuate what genetics have already provided.
It will be interesting I think to follow this plant. Is it in a diary?

Tom my 846 last year was not my best looking plant by far....many leaves were badly burned from high heat days....was not a runt but not huge either....but she threw me a 934....so just let her grow and see what she produces....I believe they are great rooters and later when I pulled up vines there were an enormous number of feeder roots...probably my best rooter.....??.........wayne

Thanks for the advice. Tom Beachy said his 846 was a runt last year too, but grew an 800lber. The rooting could be a cause for the smaller plant, maybe th plant is focusing on root development? Where can I find the PGR? It sounds like an interesting experiment. Thanks again, Tom
P.S. I will be keeping track of the plant in my grower diary. I also have an 805 Pukos, 620 Black, and 546 Welty* growing.

see "seed starting" on 3-12-'03... Tremor provides a detailed description of this product and a website and a number, etc. or, type-in 60 hours in the search window, top right of your screen....same deal!

Thanks pumpkin pal. Hopefully I can make an 846x805, 805x620, 620x846, and 546xself. I'm also interested in an 805x546 and 846x620 if I can't make the other crosses. tom
