I think the answer may be, just you, and anyone else outdoors in the area of Long Island!

Scott No wind here to-day but earlier this week we had a bad wind storm. Broke a secondary main on my Cramer 824 when the wind break fell on it. Seems alot of growers are experiencing windy conditions this season. The saying goes to grow a large pumpkin you need good soil, good seed , good weather and good luck. The first two you have control over but the last two you don't. Best of luck Sherry

Gotta be one of the windiest spring/summers in a while here on Long Island. Other than that it hasn't been too bad. Plants doing ok, but lost a few leaves to wind yesterday, and a couple weeks ago.The problem is its coming from all different directions and its happening almost everyday. Boy, you want to tick people off ?...try telling them when it 85 degrees and 93%humidity with a dew point of 73 that you dont want the breeze...they just dont understand.......G

Yes, we got some major wind this weekend too. I have lots of small tears in my leaves (even with my wind breaks).
