One more question. We had some storms move through yesterday with hard rains. The dirt splattered up on the leaves pretty bad. Will this do anything to growth or should I rinse them off?

dont worry about it. the sun will come out, the dirt will dry, and be gone before you know it

if its thick on your leaves you might want to wash them off so they are upright
