Pumpkin Masters, My plant (Long Shot) is 17 ft long and 10 feet wide. I have three female buds starting but no male flowers have opened yet. Should this be a concern? Thanks, Pappy

Pappy, the male buds should open up but what I did last year when they opened up was peel the petals off and use the stem inside with the pollen on it as a paintbrush and painted the inside of the female when it opened to ensure a successful fruit set. Not sure if you can just peel the petals off the male buds right now or not though but if they don't, give it a shot. good luck....Monica

Thanks for the info Monica. I only have one plant and there are 4 bee hives within a hundred feet of her. I am going to let nature take it's course. Pappy
