Oregon has been getting some really bad weather over the past week or so. It's been raining everyday. Polka Dot is having the blues. If the rain doesn't stop, she says she is going to grow rice instead of pumpkins this year. So all you growers out there say a prayer to have it stop raining so Polka Dot can get her patch tilled and get her season started. PumpkinBrat

Polka Dot, May the jet stream blow south and a high pressure jet stream come to your state and bring some nice weather to you. For you need a up lift to remove the rains. May your patch dry out in a few days and you can get your season under way. With the Lords strength at your hand, you will have your patch ready by Sunday. God Bless, PumpkinBrat

Today and tomorrow should be great.

Saturday decent, then more rain predicted on Sunday.

The 10 day forecast looks pretty cheery though.

Careful what you wish for, I remember a wet spring a few years back & we all wished it would stop. It did !!! for the next 4 months.....
Don't worry it'll all work out, 1 dry week with a breeze & you will be wanting rain :)

Start the seeds. The sun will come. You said my 845 would germinate and it did so the sun gods will shine down on you in time.

Thank you every one for the prayers. Brigitte I will blow and blow and blow to make it go your way. If the weather is nice all weekend I will be out there tilling till I drop. I dont want to have to grow rice because I cant eat that much and thats not going to be fun to take to the weigh-offs. lol . And yes Kenny I told you what would happen so always do what I tell you ok? Thank you brat for having me in your prayers.

Hi everyone the odds are that I will be growing rice still since this rain is not letting up. My seeds are doing well and I hope to be able to finish tilling the patch here soon. PumpkinBrat please take some of this rain from me please.

We had some showers today. Cloudy but some sun. It is so muddy in the garden that my boot got stuck and I walked out of it. It is going to take a few days of sunshine before I can get the tractor out in the garden. let's prayer for sunshine.
Even the rice growers in No. CA. can't get out to plow and plant.
