I've heard they don't make it anymore though I don't know that for sure. Whenever I find some the cans look like they are 20 years old. Tremor will probably be able to tell you what's up.

Sulfur powder is the same thing - a general fungicide.
Probably easier to find.

Captan will eventually lose it's US registration. I don't know much about Canada's status except to say that it won't fair a whole lot better in the unusual geo-political environment up there. The distribution of our products in Canada is much less than (& even less understood) Europe, Asia or Australia where our products are more readilly available for some reason. US/Canadaian trade relations are very strange indeed & seem to favor Canadaian manufacturers. I once got in all kinds of trouble for shipping wheeled ground blowers into Canada even though I used a valid import/export company. Fertilizer I beleive fairs better.
I did find this link that may prove useful. They claim to sell only to the trades. But they also have Captan listed on their pesticide offering. Perhaps they can provide a retail trade reference.
