During Alan Nesbitts chat there were questions on pH- FYI Acid runs from 0(strongest) to 6.9, 7.0 neutral, base (alkaline)7.1 to 14 (strongest) Common sustances pH=lemon juice 2.3, vinegar 2.9, wine 3.5, black coffee 5.0, acid rain 5.6, urine 6.0, normal rainwater 6.5, milk 6.6, baking soda solution 8.4, milk of magnesia 10.5, household ammonia 11.9, sodium hydroxide (NaOH) 14.0 - hope it helps Swaintech

Another good reason to drink more beer! Raises the PH of beer from 1 to 1 1/2 PH points therefor reduces the need for amount of lime in process of getting to PH7 in the patch.
Physical needs: 1 ten quart bucket in out house. Coffee can full of lime for the hot weather.
