I have more trouble staying in or on the chat rooms than you can shake a stick at. The site owners are aware of some of these problems and try to fix it. To date it appears that most problems do not affect everyone or in any absolutely consistant way. For me it is a nightmare. I do not have this problem on any other site.

I have never had any problems on the chat rooms. These are the only chat rooms I have ever visited, so I don't have a lot of things to compare it to.

There are a lot of variable that can prevent people from entering the chat rooms. Most of them seem to center around one of three things:

1) Slow computer.
2) Slow dialup connections to the Internet.
3) Usage of a branded Browser. ex AOL Internet Explorer

Obviously the third is the easiest to change.

We are always striving to make the chat rooms more accessible, but we beleive that the majority of people can get in. We will announce any new enhancements as we make them.

The biggest reason why many people have trouble here and no where else, is because we wrote our chat software ourselves. In many areas it is better than other types of chat software. For example it will work even if a firewall is present.

Our next enhancement will center around giving more diagnostic feedback when a user is bounced out of a room. This may help us in diagnosing the problems better.
