My 275 Desrosiers will have KISS names...Paul, Gene, Ace and Peter. My 788.6 Dopp is going to be Cheap Trick ... Robin, Rick, Tom and Bun. I would recommend against names from the Back Street Boys or Nsync (proud to say I'm not sure how to spell that one) as fruity little names like that would surely bring shame on your patch.

I patent "Iris". That is all i have to say.

Well, i will have plenty more names....a couple will be....cyris, airis, wheeler, and of course, an Iris II!!

I have other names written down, i cannot remember them.....seems kinda of funny that i would write names down for pumpkins, but it helps remember them in the long run....instead of saying my pumpkin or a certain weight, a name just works better in remembering....kinda of like you will never forget that face(shape, size) of that pumpkin....somewhat like remembering a person. I am not sure if all pumpkins have personalities, but they must be kind and funny because that always make people smile.

Ok...i will just stick to the names, it is not like pumpkins talk back to me or anything...opps, i hope i am not the only one who talks to their pumpkins.....i would guess not. LOL

If it's going to be monster names here are a few more for you; Baltan-Seijin and Pigmon from Ultraman and Dracolon, Tyrox and Tentaclonn from Johnny Sockko. I'm sure that all these monsters weighed in at over 1140 lbs.

Neither actually....I remember watching those shows, and the cheesy looking monsters, when I was a kid. Had to look up the names on the Net. Hell, I can't even remember what I watched on TV yesterday let alone 30 years ago:)

I think John may be referring to Jennifer Lopez. I didn't pick it up at first because I'm not really into any music post 1985 but I was watching Jackass on MTV and they called her by that name. Apparently she is popular up north;)

Sorry I'm not a music fan,I am a comedy fan and I saw her on SNL once.

I don't have any names picked out for a pumpkinbut I thought about cutting the top off one of two plants I have side by side, making a small cut in the other, and grafting them together to give one plant two root systems.
I would call it Frankinvine.

I have named mine after "Portly" women that I have known or seen. Not to be disrespectful or anything it just seems natural as only a female flower can reproduce, and they are always plump. So here is 2001 names: 746 Sherber Clone = Mrs. Oversby, 410 Gads = Auntie Reece, and the 1026 Holland = Marylou. ;)
