Last season I had 3 plants gave each plant roughly 1000 square the 815 checkon was the biggest of the 3 around 1200 square feet while the other 2 took about 600 square feet a piece. The problem I have is that I placed 6 plants in the same space. Do I kill off two of the pumpkins. Or do I try to run the vines around and squeeze them all in. If I only had 5 acers..mark

Mark I think 6 plants in a garden of 2400 sq ft is to many. I have patch of 2400 sq ft and only have 2 plants planted in the middle about 14 ft. apart. I will let them grow in opposite directions. This will give each plant 1200 sq ft. My other patch is only 700 sq ft. and I'm not sure that it will be big enough. p.s. I have 5 acres but I won't be filling it up with AG's. 3 plants is enough for me. Sherry
