I was wondering what was the best factor when determing the best plant,-- speed of growth--- best looking leaves-- or the size of the stem coming out of the ground ? I have heard all of these, but was wondering which to go by the most....Thanks....Paul

The genetics of the seed must be taken into account. Has one seed produced many large offspring? Go with the known seed first. Take a look at Wayne Hackney's article called "Don't be a Riverboat Gambler with your Seeds". Search on Hackney to find the article.
