Subject: Why Is the 1056 Calai 02 Green????

OK I cant figure this out. You pumpkin genetics gurus set me straight on this. The 1056 is a 720 Parks X 723 Bobier. Now The 720 is an 825 Shymanski X 946 Geerts. The 723 is 935 Lloyd X 865 Mettler. Where does the green come from or is this one big squashy fluke? Shannon

It wasnt true squash, rather environmentally altered (most likely unintentional) to be green. Aparently it was well over 25% green, thus making it a squash according to the GPC.

It wasn't a green squash i saw it and have proof it just evidently didn't meet the criteria of a pumpkin. I will post a picture of it.
