Subject:  Why Is the 1056 Calai 02 Green????

OK I cant figure this out. You pumpkin genetics gurus set me straight on this. The 1056 is a 720 Parks X 723 Bobier.
Now The 720 is an 825 Shymanski X 946 Geerts. The 723 is 935 Lloyd X 865 Mettler. Where does the green come from or is this one big squashy fluke?

I understand that some 723's will throw green!

It wasnt true squash, rather environmentally altered (most likely unintentional) to be green. Aparently it was well over 25% green, thus making it a squash according to the GPC.

It wasn't a green squash i saw it and have proof it just evidently didn't meet the criteria of a pumpkin. I will post a picture of it.
