My question is what is the lowest temperature a pumpkin plant can handle out side?

Unprotected, down to freezing, 32 deg.I believe as the flesh(stems and leaves ect..ect)freezes the cells pop causing it to wilt and turn to mush upon thawing. They slow way down in growth below the 60's.
