Color me dense but, I don't understand how you attach the plastic to the ends of the hoop house and are still able to slide back the top to let air in.

Hi Bill,
When I put plastic on my hoop houses, I first cover each side, stapling together and reinforcing with cardboard(like phonebook covers. Then I wrap a piece stapled at the bottom over the top, stapling only to a point just past the peak. The rest of the plastic just hangs down over the side, weighted with a board, stapled to plastic. This way, you can roll up one side for air in hot days. If you put 2 boards at the top, and staple plasic to them,instead of rolling up one side, you can slide open the 2 boards on top for air.
