I'm new at this and I was wondering if somebody could tell me how to use a pumpkin tarp. How do you move it?

Unless you live down under you won't need it for about six months. After you pick your pumpkin roll it up on its side and place the tarp under it, roll it back and pull the tarp flat. Now you and several friends can lift the thing. Mine worked well last year but it was only a 500 pounder. Get one that wieghs a half a ton and even a tarp will be tough.

Tom,
See my photos of the Stelts pumpkin and the lifting rig that Dave devised on this site. Because of the size and weight of some of the Ohio Valley pumpkins, next year we will be using a system with trolleys and a mechanical hoist at the weigh-off!
