I've been involved with AG's for 6 years now. For the first 5, I thought I was getting smarter, understanding the plants, the fruit, etc. Figured out you needed a 723 or 845 Bobier if you wanted a big heavy fruit, and if you wanted a great looking fruit you needed an 801 Stelts or an 810 Dill.

Then along came good old 2007.

If you want to grow a big heavy fruit, plant pretty much anything.
If you want a nice looking fruit, Oh ya plant almost anything.
We really don't have Squamkins no more, Colors are more consistent.
How do you prune, Oh ya How ever you want.
Organic matter, some at 5% some at 20%, does it really matter
So I'm going to predict the 2000 pound barrier will fall in 2008.
The thing is it could be by almost anybody, even though most of us have our favorites, but I am going to lean a little to the West coast, just because. No other reason.
The whole 2007 thing still makes me smile, because bottom line I think these plants still have more to offer us than we can even imagine.
I also predict it will come from the 2007 seed 1010 Daletas
