I received some seeds today, and I have a few I can't identify.

The first one says "The Mother Pumpkin, 490 Beachy x 118 Dealetas" on the envelope and "TMP" on the seed.

The second pack says "Dill's Atlantic Giant Pumpkins From Brett's Personl Vault" on the envelope. It contains five seeds that say:
-547, 116
-547, 117
-683, 205
-710, 296
-840, 284

I'm assuming the first number is the weight and the second is seed numbering.

I believe these to be the crosses you have. A nice collection of older genetics. Let me know if you need someone to plant that 840 for you:) I grew the reverse cross this past season, nice. Have fun, BF

the second part of the numbers after the seed weight number is the number Brett uses to know which grower has that seed. That has to be time consuming as heck to do that, but worth it to a grower that's wants to grow one of his seeds. if there is any doubt on one of his seeds they can check with Brett and he can tell you exactly where the seed came from, or what grower had that seed.

I thought just writing the weigh number on the seed was time consuming, but logging each seed by number, and then putting that grower next to that number has got to take a lot of time!
