I don't know if NOVA is systemic but it will surpress powdery mildew that has already started. A 30 acre commercial grower recomendded it and I used it in 2000 on my 5 acres of several pumpkin and squash varieties. Over the years I tried a lot of Fungicides with little success. NOVA is the first one I had good luck with.
