I went out and shot my shotgun a bunch of times, neighbors did'nt know what was going on, I lived in the city. This year I'm thinking of jumping in icy cold Lake Minnetonka on New Years Day.

the ole lady wanted to go to times square on new years eve..so we did..something i will never eeeever do again.
now this is nothing against NYC -I love NYC!! everyone should try and take there kids to the Macy day parade.but New Years Eve in times square another story.
after standing in the middle of the street for 8 hours waiting for the "Ball to Fall" have found something that i truely will never do again... the weather was great snow/rain/ice back to snow ending around 9pm just to make the last few hours pure hell.
when i asked one of NYC finest where can i go to relieve myself he told me "try not hit noone" ? "yeah thats how most fights start when people (go) on someone else" ok -officer will make sure i wont (go) on anyone.... never thought i could fall alseep standing up!!!have a picture to prove it!!
oh yeah ever try to catch a cab at 2am New Years morning back to Jersey? thats another story all together....
these days fall asleep on my couch around 9pm crazy huh!!
Merry Christmas everyone!!!

me, my wife, my brother and his wife were playing cards on new years eve 2 years ago and my brother went out to his car to get something and i noticed he had been gone for a while so when i went out to see where he was and i found him beating the pumpkin juice out of my not so nice neighbor in our front yard, it was the craziest thing ever seen on new years eve. instead of christmas lights lighting up the front yard it was sherriff lights instead. for some reason he was shooting bottle rockets at my dogs and they got into a argument over that and that sparked the whole thing. it was pretty crazy.

Sorry Brooks, forgot to tell you not to drink the ones with the shot glass inside. They are called boilermakers.

We're home bodies on New Years, and from some of the stories here, it's probably safer that way, LOL! Boring, yes, but much warmer watching the ball drop from my own living room!

My crazy NYE stories are best left for another place.
