Just a curious question, "Would you rather have a huge pumpkin, or an average size pumpkin that the seeds produce huge pumpkins?"

I'd rather grow a world record pumpkin, than an average sized pumpkin with seeds that produce a world record.

ill take the world record any day
being number 1 in the world at anything is a once in a lifetime happening.
an accomplishment that no one can ever take away from you.
theres always next year to produce a great seed stock

I'll take the creation of the cross that produces the World Record.
If my climate could yield a World Record, my answer would be different. BF

I think if you have the World Record pumpkin the rest takes care of itself, So Ill take the World Record but would have to move somewhere to get have a change to achieve it.....but I like challenges....1000 would be nice to start and this years as good as any.....
