Now you have to answer truthfully. How many hours a day, on average, during the off season, do you spend on Pumpkin stuff, research, AGGC, BP on and on I'll start by saying 3 to 4 hrs per day I know, I need to get a life Eddy

I'm almost embarrased to say that I get up early each morning and spend about an hour looking stuff up. I also find it hard to walk past the computer without double clicking bigpumpkins to read the newest post. About 2-3 hours per day.

Heck, I spend atleast an hour a day just looking at my covered compost pile wondering how it is breaking down. That doesnt include the 30 or so hits on BP and the 2-3 hours of day dreaming about finally hitting the 1000 pound mark.
This weeks thoughts are focused on getting selected for one of the SNGPG promo packages.. Focus.. focus... focus....

One hour a day, everyday for the last 8 months. My wife often gives me the is that all you do. When I google BigPumpkins it say I have been here 360 some times. Kind of a habit, addiction, play.

Hey I'm in the middle of a two week vacation. One whole week (the one coming up) was specifically taken to get horse manure and compost into the patch. Some of my buddies say "you took vacation to do what???".

Well... my coworker said "wayyy too much" lol. I log in to BP when I go to work in the morning.. then I log out when I leave from work in the afternoon. So 8-9 hrs a day, plus evenings, plus weekends.. "few hrs". lol. Then I read pumpkin books, talk on phone about kins with my kin friends and, ofcourse, talk about kins to my friends and relatives... When I go out, I walk in my yard and try to figure out how many kins Im able to plant there.. After this revelation... Im speechless :x

I fortunately have a job where I use my computer a great deal. I am constantly hitting the refresh button throughout the day to catch up on the latest pumpkin info. I have BP.com pulled up on the screen from 8-4:30 everyday. I am constantly going from one growers association website to another and then back to BP.com. It's a viscious cycle....I usually don't get on the computer at home, I don't want to get burned out on pumpkin info..lol grow'em big in 08!!
