I did 14 year old seeds a few years back
10+ years less than 10% germination rate unless from someone that stored them in the fridge or freezer...almost indefinitely after that

15 years If I had an 827 Holland I bet it would germinate even though it was a 1992 seed. Some seeds were just meant to grow.
Comming out of very dry freezer storage is the only way on old seeds. 10+ years of room temp and humidity will be near 1% germination.

Good to hear, I recently won a set of squash seeds from the GPC online auction. It includes a 900 Lyons, which is from 1994 I think.
Would be nice to get that growing.

I've had '99 seeds pop just fine as recently as this year so 6 years is my personal best. My older seeds I haven't yet had the nerve to try.

I reset the SC State Record with one of those 1992 827 Holland seeds in 2006. I'll be germing another one this next season. Time to bump that record up again. BF
