Hi all,
I got a late start on my CC and the cowpeas did not take since it has been too cold. in the 50-60's here.
Give me some good CC to put down as a suggestion in the cold of AZ. We don't see frost and normally will be 40-60 F this time of year.

Ben I just planted some winter rye and purple vetch a couple weeks ago and its doing fine here. Our weather is very close to yours in the winter months.

You growers that do not get below 20 degrees have such a wide variety of cover crops you can choose from...Us growers up north were -30°F is not uncommon are limited to winter rye.
Ben and Others Soak your Peas prior to planting for better results.
