My Great Uncle is one of three living Pearl Harbor survivors statewide. He's also one of my favorite people in the world. We lost his wife this summer so I knew this was coming.
Three angina/heart attacks in one week is more than too much.

You bet, Steve! My Cousin Vernie Mello was stationed on the USS Missouri, but was on shore at the time of the attack. However, he passed away two years ago.

My best pal uncle was at there as well I was told the story many times while I was young and as an adult every time the tears came.You bet I'll pray !!!

God bless him, and all other who serve.
My uncle was one of 11 survivors from his ship. They had there ship blown out from underneath them. He passed away 3 years ago tomorrow. I never heard him mention his time in the navy.
God rest there souls

Dick.....Visting the Pearl Harbor Memorial is a very moving experience. To see the oil slick from the Arizona still coming to the surface is a somber moment.
