I will be constructing a greenhouse next spring to house 2 seedlings until the weather warms. The greenhouse will be around 18'x 6'. The plants will be grown back to back. I have two milk room heaters and heavy duty heating cables. Will I need to use both heaters to keep the greenhouses warm enough or will one do the job? thanks Kathy

Milk room heater? Not sure exactly what you mean. I suspect they are the 1500 watt gray heaters that I buy at a local farm supply store. I use two of them in my each of my greenhouses (16'x20'). That keeps it about 10 degrees warmer inside then outside. I suspect 1 would be fine for that size of greenhouse if they are a similar variety.

We used the cheap $20 milk house heaters from Home Cheapo in our old greenhouse. They did fine for keeping the air temps up...but you'll still want soil cables.

Depends on the temps outside Kathy. If you cover the hoop to insulate, 1 should do the trick, just plastic 2 will keep it nicey nice.
When the plants are small cover them with a tote, box, or cheap cooler, set a couple jugs of hot water in alongside, saves on the electric.
