"upon further review" I hope that you straighten that out David,,,not that mistakes can't be made in the "heat" of bidding, but Steve did say the transcript would be reviewed. Enough folks caught the error and commented at the time.

No auction house I've ever heard of strikes bids even if in error but we're not idiots. If a bidder out bid themselves by $10 I'm not going to hurt our reputation looking for the $10.
Ken will send us the transcripts for both nights (as he always does) & then we'll look at them. We can't do a thing about it until then so the court of popular opinion can wait with the rest of us.
This is why we insist that only bidders contribute during the auction. Unnecessary chatter adds t the confusion & sends the lines off the page to fast to review them. At a place like Christy's, your bid is good if you so much as pick your nose the wrong way during the bidding. LOL
