Ticks are a real problem where I live. I can't go in my woods at all without having one on me. I hate them and want to destroy every last one of them. I wonder if napalm would work.

New grower here. I just registered and saw your post scottie. I once pulled 30 of them off me. Ended up with my nickname for life from my co-workers.

My dog that I rescued last month tested positive for lyme disease, now she is on a months worth of heavy anti-biotics. Is there anything that will repel them to stay off?

We get them on the cows quite a bit at this time of year. you can spray pytherum (not sure how to spell it) and that repels them also on horses you can just spray there covers and that helps too.

This is one of the best times of years to erradicate ticks from your property. Talstar, Tempo, heck any synthetic pyrethroid will wipe them out. If you can't apray then at least treat with granules after mowing down the tall edges & pushing back the leaves.
Get rid of mice too. Deer aren't carriers of Lime Disease but mice are & they will stop at nothing to get close to or inside the food rich heated habitats of HUMANS.
