Ok we are taking thanksgiving back.
we were first and we want it back!!!!

my New England brothers and sisters grow the biggest pumpkins.Have the best sports teams.best clam chowder so enough is enough you cant have it all...

President Lincoln was wrong.....the first thanksgiving took place here in VIRGINIA!!
even President Kennedy agreed...

Captain John Woodliffe landed his ship the "Margaret"
at Berkeley plantation in Charles city county on Dec
4th,1619....
trust me Capt.Woodliffe and his 38 settlers sure thank GOD when they touched land.after that voyage in that bucket they were giving all the Thanks they could thank!


we were a year ahead of the Mayflower..
so take that New England-haha

well if you know anything about the pilgrims you'll know that when they encountered the native americans that they spoke english to the pilgrims, why becuase the europeans had already been working and fishing the new england shoreline, also the Norse had been there many years before, no doubt they gave thanks as well!
so we're taking back and Keeping it!!!

Hmmmm, well let minnesota steal it, we have proof that vikings came thru this area. The kinsington runestone dates back to 1362 in alexandria, minnesota. I never heard about charleston city, Va.

Powhatton shot more deer than Massasoit ! But our Wampanoag friends brought fish, ingredients for chowda, and some wild turkey ! And the 1000 pounder that John Alden grew was un-eatable ! Happy Thanksgiving to everybody and remember that this Holiday is for all Americans not just New England or Virginia.
