I am slowly collecting data from growers and plugging the numbers into the new 2008 - 1,200 pound OTT benchmark study. Already some exciting new trends are being noticed. There may even be enough data to project OTT growth for even larger fruit than the current study envisions.

Some clubs have posted information on their web sites and others are including the submission form in newsletters. Wide distribution is the best way to ensure success of this GPC supported effort.

The 2005 weight chart is now approaching 4 years old and I believe this new tool will help commonwealth growers and others to further expand our understanding of girth and measurements at 10 day intervals.

Thank you to all who have contributed so far. The study now includes recent data from Thad Starr, Quinn Werner and Brad Wursten.

All data will be accepted although fruit over 1000 pounds are mostly required.
