That 1090 Horton is very tempting. The 664.5 on the female side is a good bet anytime. I have personally seen its capabilities and 1353.5, 1368, and 1524.5 grown off it. I have been told by its grower that it is basically a poor-soil seed, with the plant able to glean everything it can under adverse conditions. This year we had a very dry June, wet July and August, and dry September. And still the 664.5 produced a new state record. That cross is awesome!
